About 500 people have been evacuated after a fire broke out in a luxury hotel in downtown Singapore.
Video footage showed thick black smoke billowing from the Grand Hyatt Hotel near the Orchard Road shopping district.
Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed that the fire was quickly put out and no one was injured in the incident.
Officials said the blaze involved a kitchen stove and an exhaust duct in a restaurant on the second floor.
An investigation is currently underway.
