Dubai gears up for month-long celebrations marking UAE national occasions

Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has announced a month-long programme of events and activities to celebrate the UAE's national occasions.

Running from November 3 to December 2, the 'National Month' initiative will bring together government, semi-government and private sector entities across Dubai to mark the UAE's heritage, achievements and national identity.

The celebrations will honour the legacy of the UAE's Founding Fathers and recognise the nation's continued development under its leadership, while providing opportunities for citizens, residents and visitors to participate in festivities across the emirate.

Key events will include UAE Flag Day celebrations, Eid Al Etihad activities, the Flag Garden initiative, the UAE Parade and the 'Stories of Our Determination' short film competition, which encourages creative talent to share stories of unity, resilience and national pride.

Brand Dubai said it is working with partners across various sectors to deliver a coordinated programme of events designed to strengthen community participation and celebrate the values that unite the UAE.

Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, said the celebrations will reflect national pride and creative expression through events and initiatives inspired by the UAE’s history, identity and values, while highlighting the unity of its society and its aspirations for the future.
