Dubai International (DXB) has boosted its connectivity with the launch of scheduled services by Belarusian national carrier Belavia Airlines.
The airline's inaugural flight from Minsk arrived at DXB's Terminal 3 on Friday night (February 19).
It will operate two flights a week between Dubai and the Belarusian capital city on an Embraer 195-E2 aircraft with a capacity for 125 passengers.
The first flight was, however, operated on a 189-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft due to heavy demand.
