His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, has pledged to provide prosthetic limbs for 7-year-old Mohammad Saeed Shaaban, who lost his legs and right hand in an Israeli airstrike on northern Gaza.
The promise from His Highness came after the boy's mother posted a video of her son moving around a Palestinian camp using only one arm.

The UAE Field Hospital in the Gaza Strip opened a Prosthetic Limb Centre, as part of Operation "Gallant Knight 3" in February.
The centre operates in several stages, starting with taking the patient's measurements, followed by making the limb, and then physical therapy and rehabilitation of the injured.
Operation "Gallant Knight 3" was launched by the UAE in November 2023 under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to support the Palestinian people.
