UAE advance in T20 World Cup Qualifiers

The UAE have advanced to the playoffs in the T20 World Cup Qualifiers after beating Canada by 14 runs.

Oman are also through but lost their chance to top the table following a 14-run defeat to Jersey, while the Netherlands beat Scotland by 4 wickets.

Meanwhile, Papua New Guinea secured automatic qualification for next year’s tournament after crushing Kenya by 45 runs.
