Australia have beaten India by 85 runs to win their fifth T20 World Cup title at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Sunday.
Australian openers Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney's half-centuries helped them post a massive 184 on the board. Healy blasted 75 off 39 balls, while Mooney scored an unbeaten 78.
India lost crucial wickets early on, leaving them with 99 runs in 19.1 overs.
"We’ve had ups and downs and scraped through the semi-final but to put in that performance on the biggest day of our careers is something we can be very proud of," said Meg Lanning.
Beth Mooney was picked as the player of the tournament, while Alyssa Healy took home player of the World Cup Final.
