Ramadan 29 until Shawwal 3 will be a paid holiday for all workers in the UAE's private sector on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
Ramadan 29 corresponds to Saturday, April 30 in the Gregorian calendar, meaning the holiday will run until Tuesday, May 3, or Wednesday, May 4, depending on when the crescent moon is sighted.
The announcement is based on the Cabinet's decision regarding official holidays.
