His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, has directed the invitation of 500 professionals from five future-driven sectors to take part in Dubai Future Week this November.
The experts will take part in '500 Future Minds', one of Dubai Future Week’s eight core concepts.
They include 100 teachers, 100 frontline responders, 100 homegrown entrepreneurs, 100 economy and finance professionals, and 100 urban planners and architects.
Across a one-day experience, the experts will work through future scenarios relevant to their sectors, examine how emerging technologies and wider transformations could reshape their work, and identify priorities, ideas and commitments that can contribute to Dubai’s future.
The concept reflects the event's wider human-centred approach, exploring the future through five questions: How We’ll Live, How We’ll Think, How We’ll Innovate, How We’ll Feel, and How We’ll Do Business.
The initiative supports the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to build a future in which people remain at the heart of all progress and development.
"We want them to be our partners in advancing Mohammed bin Rashid’s vision for Dubai, which places people at the heart of our objectives and priorities," said Sheikh Hamdan in a post on X.
Organised by Dubai Future Foundation from November 18-21 under the theme ‘For the Human of the Future’, Dubai Future Week will bring together more than 10,000 participants across Emirates Towers and the Museum of the Future.
The event features keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, debates, challenges and competitions, pitch platforms, exhibitions, immersive experiences, closed-door meetings and activations across the Dubai Future District.
