A five-year old Pakistani girl died after she fell from the 15th floor of a residential building in Al Taawun area in Sharjah on Sunday morning. Initial police investigations suggest that the victim climbed a chair kept near the window where she lost her balance. The girl’s body was taken to Al Qasimi hospital before being transferred to the forensic laboratory for autopsy. Sharjah Police appealed to parents to always monitor their children and never place movable items near windows or in balconies.
