The UAE's Ministry of Defence has announced that it is responding to incoming missile and drone threats from Iran on Tuesday, with the public advised to remain in a safe location.
Authorities have urged the public not to approach or handle debris, and say sounds heard are due to air defence interceptions.
An alert was shared at 11:21 a.m., with an all-clear later shared at 11:36 a.m. informing the community that operations can resume normally.

An alert was previously issued on Tuesday at 02:09 am, with the threat declared over by the Ministry of Interior at 02:21 am.
