The UAE has confirmed 2,721 new cases of COVID-19 from 225,159 tests.
Another 1,666 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 383,998.
Meanwhile, 15 more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,253.
A total of 396,771 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 11,520 are currently active.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said on Sunday it had, in coordination with the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), facilitated the return of around 500 UAE Golden Visa holders and residents whose travel had been disrupted by regional tensions and aviation restrictions.
