UAE President, Indian PM discuss stronger bilateral ties

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone call with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss opportunities to further strengthen bilateral relations.

The two leaders reviewed opportunities under the UAE-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, as well as the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.

Sheikh Mohamed also congratulated Prime Minister Modi on his birthday, wishing him continued good health and success in advancing India’s development and serving the aspirations of its people.

Modi thanked Sheikh Mohamed for his wishes and reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the UAE to further enhance cooperation for the benefit of both nations and their peoples.

The two leaders exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, with a particular focus on efforts to support regional security and stability.
