Seven-time Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships winner Roger Federer has withdrawn from this week's Paris Masters.
The 38-year-old from Switzerland said that while he was "extremely disappointed" to pull out, he wanted to "pace himself" ahead of next month's ATP Finals in London.
Federer won a record-extending tenth Swiss Indoors championship title on Sunday.
