The UAE's Ministry of Climate Change and Environment said assessments conducted with the relevant authorities on the unusual odours reported in areas across the country showed no indication of concern.
In a post on social media platform X, the minister said it continues to monitor the situation and verify the odour's nature and sources.
Response efforts and field monitoring remain ongoing to reduce the unusual smells and expedite their dispersal, the authority added.
The ministry noted that it will provide the public with the necessary guidance should any developments arise in the situation.
It also urged the public to follow updates and obtain information through official authorised channels.
Sharjah authorities had reported they were investigating the matter on Tuesday.
