
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, has announced the launch of an AI-backed system to measure performance in the federal sector.
In a post on social media platform X, Sheikh Mohammed said the system will use AI algorithms to support in decision-making, track the progress of plans and strategies, and enhance the government’s ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
"Continuous improvement is fundamental to government work. We see pausing development as a step backward," he added.
"Our belief remains: 'There may be no perfect system, but every system can be improved and developed'."

On July 6, Sheikh Mohammed had unveiled the UAE Federal Government Strategic Plan 2031 with a focus on leveraging AI to "streamline processes and improve management of resources".
He described it as a move to switch to "a new chapter in shaping a smarter, faster and more efficient government".
