COVID-19: 1,196 new cases in UAE from more than 163,000 tests

The UAE has confirmed 1,196 new cases of COVID-19 from 163,352 tests.

Another 694 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 162,435.

Meanwhile, five more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 607.

A total of 182,601 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 19,559 are currently active.
