Rugby world mourns the death of legendary Lomu

The rugby world has paid tribute to All Blacks rugby legend Jonah Lomu who unexpectedly died overnight. Lomo, who suffered from a rare kidney condition, had just arrived back in Auckland following a holiday in Dubai on his way back from the Rugby World Cup in England. His last post on twitter was a video of the dancing Dubai fountains along with various pictures of his visit to the UAE. He also thanked friends and staff at the Madinat Jumeirah for looking after him and his family during their visit. The New Zealand star is the joint top try-scorer in its rugby world cup history - alongside South Africa’s Bryan Habana, scoring 15 tries in 11 games. The kidney condition called Nephrotic syndrome, hampered his career and a later transplant was rejected by his body in 2011. He is survived by his wife Nadene and two sons.
