A gag from comedian Mark Simmons has been voted the funniest joke at this year's Edinburgh Fringe festival.
Voted for by over two thousand people, Simmons' one-liner has ranked top among this year's entries to take the Funnies Joke Of The Fringe crown.
The comedian told his joke to festival-goers earlier this month. He said on stage: "I was going to sail around the globe in the world's smallest ship but I bottled it."
Simmons said he was "chuffed" at winning the title, 10 years after making his Fringe debut.
