Much like every year, big brands around the world went all out to tease customers on April Fools' Day. And, this time, Dubai's viral kunafa chocolate also found a special mention.
Heinz UK got in on the joke claiming it was releasing a pistachio-flavoured Beanz line.
In a post on their social media channel, the brand teased an image of a tin of Dubai Beanz with the label "premium pistachio flavour".
It was described as "luxury in a tin".
Another chips brand by Boundless also unveiled a new line of Dubai chocolate-flavoured chips.
"Why chose between savoury and sweet when you can have both!" the post from the brand read on social media.
"Bursting with rich pistachio and chocolatey flavours, our latest good mood NPD will bring a dash of Middle Eastern magic to your day."
Majority of the social media users, however, claimed they didn't fall for the prank.
