If you would like to get your hands on fancy car number plates, some special ones are heading your way.
A pack of 90 premium Dubai vehicle licensing plates of two, three, four and five digits are set to be auctioned off by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Saturday, December 30.
It's going to be the RTA's 114th Open Auction and the final one of this year.
The plates on offer bear the codes AA- I- J- M- N- O- Q- R- S- T- U- V- W- X- Y- Z.
Registration of bidders starts on Monday, December 25 and bidding will start at 4:30 pm on December 30 at the Grand Hyatt Dubai.
Bidders can register for the auction through the RTA’s website, Dubai Drive app, or the RTA’s Customers Happiness Centres at Umm Al Ramool, Deira and Al Barsha.
Each bidder is required to have a traffic file in Dubai, and deposit a security cheque amounting to AED 25,000, and also pay a non-refundable auction fee of AED 120.
