The countdown to Dubai Summer Surprises 2026 is officially underway, with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment inviting residents and visitors to 'Make it a Dubai Summer' as the festival returns from July 2 to August 30.
Across 60 days, the city will host a wide range of shopping, dining, entertainment and family-friendly experiences, along with major offers across malls, hotels, restaurants and attractions.
This year’s edition will feature a phased retail calendar designed to keep momentum going throughout the summer, including major sales events and limited-time promotions.
Highlights include the Great Dubai Summer Sale, offering discounts of up to 90 per cent, as well as a Back-to-School season from August 3 to 30, with deals on school essentials, fashion, electronics and student tech.
Shoppers will also have the chance to take part in the 'Win Your Home in Dubai' initiative, where spending AED 500 or more at participating outlets enters customers into a draw for residential units, including studio apartments and a grand prize two-bedroom home.
Entertainment will be a key part of this year’s festival, with the return of the Beat the Heat DXB concert series and live shows, including the Miami Musical Show at Coca-Cola Arena on August 28.
Malls across the city will also host the new DSS Performing Arts Fest, featuring themed performances, roaming entertainment and community activations.
Families can look forward to the return of Modesh World at Dubai World Trade Centre, while dining offers include Summer Restaurant Week from July 13 to August 2, and the popular 10 Dirham Dish promotion from August 3 to 30.
New this year is the Back-to-School Carnival, a two-day mall takeover from August 7 to 8, designed to turn shopping into a family experience.
With shopping, entertainment, dining, and hotel offers all part of the programme, DSS 2026 aims to deliver a packed summer season across Dubai.
