At least two people have been killed after an Algerian military plane crashed during a training flight.
In a statement, the Algerian defence ministry said that the Russian SU 24 aircraft crashed late on Wednesday in an inhabited agricultural area in the Tiaret province.
It was in April last year that a military plane crash near Algiers left 257 people dead.
