Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd has signed lease agreements with Eastar Jet for three new Boeing 737-8 aircraft, which are scheduled for delivery in mid-2025 and the first quarter of 2026.
Firoz Tarapore, CEO of DAE, expressed excitement about the deal, noting that it strengthens their ongoing partnership with Eastar Jet.
He emphasised that the addition of these new aircraft would support the airline's expanding network and meet the rising demand for affordable regional travel.
The Boeing 737 MAX series is known for its fuel efficiency and reduced environmental impact, boasting a 20% improvement in fuel consumption and emissions compared to previous models.
DAE, which currently owns and manages 500 aircraft, continues to expand its fleet to meet the growing demand in the global aviation market.
