Dubai is taking another major step toward smarter, more sustainable transport.

DP World has welcomed the world’s largest and most eco-friendly car carrier, MV Höegh Sunrise, to Jebel Ali Port for the first time.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) said on Wednesday it would resume direct flights next month on its most profitable route to Britain, putting an end to a five-year ban before the planned privatisation of the national carrier this year.

The UAE and US have explored ways to enhance strategic partnership in key sectors like technology and sustainability, during roundtable meetings held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
