 
                                    A motorcyclist has been arrested in Sharjah for performing dangerous stunts on a public road.
The 20-year-old Arab national was tracked down by Sharjah Police after a video of his stunts went viral on social media.
Colonel Muhammad Alai Naqbi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, said the rider committed several offences, including driving recklessly and without a licence plate, running a red light, and making illegal modifications to the bike.
Al Naqbi added that Sharjah Police continue to focus on road safety by increasing awareness campaigns and surveillance. He also called on the public to report dangerous driving behaviours by calling 901.
