The B-250 is being developed by Abu Dhabi-based defence firm Calidus.

The plane is on show at the ongoing International Defence Exhibition (Idex) in the capital.

Officials say the aircraft, which is currently being tested in Al Ain, has already received interest from regional and international buyers.

The plane has multi-role capabilities for modern and asymmetrical warfare.

It also includes close air support, counter-insurgency and specialised intelligence software.
