More than 24,000 school leaders, teachers, advisors and support staff will undergo a five-day training workshop ahead of the new academic year.

Making the announcement, the Ministry of Education (MoE) said the Specialised Training Week will run from August 24 to 28 and will feature more than 80 targeted programmes and hybrid workshops.

It will equip educators with cutting-edge methodologies and modern technologies.

Delivered in person and remotely, this training model ensures flexible, nationwide participation.

According to Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of Education, the training programme will "serve as a strategic national platform to integrate artificial intelligence, foster institutional innovation and empower our educators to lead sustainable, world-class academic environments".

The Specialised Training Week outlines a dedicated development pathway for 1,700 school leaders, including 500 principals and 1,200 vice principals. Key programmes such as the Leadership Competencies Lab focus on data-driven decision-making, AI application and anchoring school culture in national identity and Emirati values.

By integrating professional learning into the daily school environment, the Ministry ensures that training outcomes directly enhance school performance and elevate educational quality from day one of the academic year.
