UAE stargazers excited for meteor shower

Stargazers in the region are in for a treat tonight as the Leonid Meteor Shower will grace the skies of the UAE from midnight until dawn. Those who stay up to witness the spectacle can expect to see 10-15 meteors every hour before dawn with the shower expected to peak close to dawn. The Dubai Astronomy Group will be hosting a Leonid meteor shower viewing event which kicks off at 9 PM at the Showka Dam in Ras al Khaimah. CEO Hasan Al Hariri gives us some tips on how best you can catch tonight’s shower.
