UAE sends urgent medical aid to Gaza hospitals

WAM

The UAE has reaffirmed its continued support for the Palestinian people with a new medical aid shipment delivered to Gaza as part of 'Operation Chivalrous Knight 3'.

The 12-tonne shipment was coordinated by Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries, Julphar, in partnership with the Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Charity and Humanitarian Foundation.

Hospitals in Gaza are facing a severe healthcare collapse, with critical shortages of medicines.

The latest shipment includes antibiotics, pain relievers, allergy medications and treatments for burns and infections—urgently needed supplies to support overstretched hospitals.

This effort reflects the UAE’s long-standing commitment to humanitarian aid and follows recent contributions to the World Health Organisation to bolster emergency medical response in crisis zones.
