A fresh shipment of humanitarian aid from the UAE has arrived in Afghanistan, continuing efforts to support communities affected by the recent earthquake.
With this latest delivery, the total UAE aid has surpassed 3,681 tonnes, including food, shelter and medical supplies.
The Joint Operations Command at the UAE Ministry of Defence continues to operate an intensive air and sea relief bridge, while additional aid is being sourced locally to speed up delivery to those in urgent need.
Afghan authorities and residents have expressed deep gratitude to the UAE’s leadership and people, praising the swift response and tireless efforts of UAE field teams working on the ground.
