UAE responds to missile threats early Wednesday

The UAE's Ministry of Defence (MoD) said air defences were responding to incoming missile and drone threats from Iran early on Wednesday morning.

The MoD asserted the sounds heard were the result of interceptions by the air defence systems.

The alert was cleared at 2:22 a.m.

The public is reminded to rely on official sources for updates.
