UAE residents have expressed concern over the standard of living in the country, as reflected in the results of a new study. The annual Prosperity Index suggests the country is number one in the MENA region, but dropped two places globally to number 30 this year. The research conducted by UK-based Legatum Institute has found Norway to be the most prosperous country in the world, followed by Switzerland and Denmark. The think tank’s programme manager, Stephen Clarke, has this to say.
