 
                                    
Eight out of ten UAE residents say they trust the recommendations of family and friends over traditional advertising. A new study shows social media is also one of the most trusted formats at 74%, just behind editorial content, such as newspaper articles, which came in second. The Nielsen Global Trust in Advertising Report showed that trust in Radio and TV advertising has increased to 67%. Nearly three quarters of UAE respondents trust branded websites, up 2% from 2013.
