United Arab Emirates President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a written message from Angola President Joao Manuel Lourenço relating to bilateral relations between the two countries.
The message was received by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, when he met with Angola Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Tete Antonio on Monday.
During the meeting, the repercussions of the Iranian missile attacks that targeted the UAE and a number of sister countries were discussed, as well as their impact on international maritime security, energy supplies, the global economy, and regional and international peace and security.
The two sides reviewed all regional developments related to the announcement by US President Donald Trump of a ceasefire between the United States and Iran, and discussed ways to achieve sustainable stability, peace and security in the region.
They also discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in all fields, especially economic and trade, within the framework of the comprehensive economic partnership agreement between the two countries.
