UAE stands in solidarity with Pakistan over coach tragedy

The UAE has expressed its sincere condolences to Pakistan over the bus tragedy in Balochistan's Lasbela area that left several people dead and wounded.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation also wished the families of the injured a speedy recovery.

The incident on Sunday saw a passenger bus fall into a ravine after it crashed into the pillar of a bridge.

Several people were trapped inside when the bus went up in flames after the crash.  

According to local officials, the coach was travelling from Quetta to Karachi when the incident happened. 

Three people have been rescued from the accident site.
