The UAE’s moon-sighting committee will be meeting virtually on Monday, April 12 after maghrib prayer to indicate the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
Shariah courts across the nation will follow up to inform the committee of any sightings.
Meanwhile, the Lunar Calendar Committee at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department will continue to collect data and inform the moon-sighting committee of any findings.
