UAE, Lebanese Presidents discuss bilateral ties and regional developments

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has held a phone call with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun to discuss ways to strengthen ties between the two countries.

The two leaders also discussed the latest developments in Lebanon, with a focus on efforts to reinforce the country's security, stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

President Aoun thanked the UAE for its continued support for Lebanon and its people, and wished the UAE further progress and prosperity.

They also exchanged views on developments in the Middle East, stressing the importance of continued efforts to promote regional security, stability and lasting peace.
