The UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism is urging consumers to stop using certain glass drinking cups sold under the Flying Tiger brand.
The warning applies to 220 ml glass cups sold during 2024 and 2025. The affected product numbers are 3057450, 3060031, 3052986, 3062993, 3055350, 3053912
Authorities say tests found elevated levels of lead and cadmium in the external print on the product, which could pose potential health risks.
Consumers are being advised to stop using the cups immediately and dispose of them safely.
The Ministry says the move is part of its ongoing efforts to monitor markets and ensure the highest standards of product safety and quality.
