A UAE aid plane carrying urgent, quake relief supplies has landed in Afghanistan.
Making the announcement, the Joint Operations Command said its the ninth aid plane to land in Afghanistan since the UAE established an air and sea humanitarian bridge to help those impacted by the deadly earthquakes.
UAE ambassador to Afghanistan, Eisa Aldhaheri, also discussed relief operations with Mawlawi Sharafuddin Muslim, Deputy Minister for Policy and Planning at the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, at Kabul International Airport.
Aldhaheri stressed that the UAE will continue to extend humanitarian and shelter assistance, in addition to securing aid from the local market to ensure it is delivered to those in need.
