The UAE has delivered 10,000 bags and 2,500 laptops to support Ukrainian students affected by the Russian conflict.

Salem Al Kaabi, the UAE’s ambassador to Ukraine, said the humanitarian campaign will help pupils studying remotely.

The packages have been delivered in partnership with the Foundation of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olina Zelenska.

Following a directive from UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in October last year the UAE pledged $100 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

The delivery comes after the UAE also sent 250 tonnes of vital supplies earlier this month.
