Emiratis will not need a visa to visit the UK from 2023.

The UAE will be one of the first countries to benefit from the UK’s Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) scheme.

In a video message, the UAE’s ambassador to the UK, Mansoor Abulhoul said the latest development will bring "much more opportunities in the relationship" between the two countries.

Other GCC countries will also move on to the ETA system when it rolls out.
