The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has reported minor disruptions to the operational processes of the UAE’s airports and airlines following a global technical outage affecting various sectors worldwide.

It said that a limited number of flights experienced minor check-in delays, but the use of an alternative system allowed airlines to resume operations normally.

The authority added that national carriers are actively monitoring the situation and are providing updates and guidance to passengers.

The GCAA has advised the public to rely on official sources for the latest information.
