UAE announces 883 new cases of COVID-19, 416 recoveries

The UAE has confirmed 883 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 75,981.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), more than 85,917 additional tests have been carried out across the Emirates.

Meanwhile, the number of recoveries has gone up to 67,359 after another 416 people received the all-clear.

The ministry has also confirmed the death of two patients, bringing the total number of fatalities to 393.

This means that there are currently 8,229 active cases in the country.
