UAE announces 261 new cases of COVID-19, 387 recoveries

The UAE has announced 261 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 58,249.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), more than 46,000 new coronavirus tests were carried out across the UAE.

The ministry has also confirmed that one more person has died from the virus, taking current death toll stands at 343.

Meanwhile, 387 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 51,235 in the UAE.
