UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who is on a fraternal visit to the UAE.
The two leaders discussed bilateral ties and cooperation, particularly in areas supporting shared development goals and prosperity for both nations.
They also reviewed the latest regional developments and their implications for regional and international security and stability.
During the meeting, El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting civilians and civilian facilities in the UAE.
He stressed Egypt’s solidarity with the UAE and its support for all measures taken to protect the country’s security, sovereignty and the safety of its people.
Senior UAE officials and members of the Egyptian delegation attended the talks.
Earlier, Sheikh Mohamed and El-Sisi visited the Egyptian fighter jet detachment stationed in the UAE, where they reviewed its readiness and efforts to enhance operational preparedness.
