The UAE's Ministry of Defence has announced on Friday that its air defence systems are responding to a new wave of missile and drone threats from Iran.
An alert was shared with the public at 10:58 with an advisory to remain in a safe location. An all-clear alert was later shared at 11:15, notifying that the situation is safe and normal activities can be resumed.
The ministry affirmed that the sounds heard are due to successful interceptions of the attacks. It also advised the community to avoid approaching any fallen debris.
