The UAE's Ministry of Defence announced it is continuing to respond to incoming missile and drone threats from Iran, with a second update issued on its official channels on Monday at 3:10 pm.
The authority advised the community to adhere to the safety and security guidelines.
It also assured the community that the sounds heard were the result of air defence systems successfully intercepting the threats, and reminded the public to only follow official channels for warnings and updates.
