UAE air defences intercept 10 ballistic missiles and 26 drones on Thursday

The UAE air defence systems intercepted 10 ballistic missiles and 26 drones on Thursday, according to figures released by the Ministry of Defence.

Since the start of the Iran attacks, UAE air defenses have intercepted 278 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1540 drones.

These attacks have resulted in 6 deaths of Emirati, Pakistani, Nepalese, and Bangladeshi nationalities.

There have been a further 131 cases of minor and moderate injuries of Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, and Indonesian nationalities.

The Ministry of Defence affirmed that it is on high alert and readiness to deal with any threats and to firmly confront everything that targets undermining the state's security, ensuring the preservation of its sovereignty, security, and stability, and protecting its interests and national capabilities.
