Dubai Police have diverted traffic along a section of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road due to water logging.

"Due to puddles, traffic has been diverted from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road to Tripoli Street in the direction of Emirates Road to ensure the highest level of safety for motorists," the authority said on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Al Asayel Street is now open in both directions from Al Maraba’a Street to Kahraman Street.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) had earlier closed the section due to the accumulation of water.
