In pictures: Special Olympics Flame of Hope torch run

The Flame of Hope torch burned bright as it passed through the streets of Ajman and Sharjah.

The torch, a symbol of the Special Olympics World Games is currently on a ten-day tour across the UAE, having already visited Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

It will complete its journey when it is carried into the spectacular opening ceremony of the World Games at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi on March 14.

You can see the torch for yourself when it makes a stop at the offices of the Arabian Radio Network (ARN) in Dubai on Sunday at 8 AM.
